"You should be buying a regular rise pair of slim or straight leg jeans with a small taper." Morrison champions selvedge, the method by which all denim was woven up until the 1960s. "In my mind, for men, it's the best quality you can get."
"A simple T-shirt on top is always a casual winner, or a Japanese oxford cloth button down on top for a bit more formality," says Stephen Powell, the other co-founding half of Gustin. "Pair jeans with a broken-in pair of leather high top sneakers to a classic pair of boots. With denim as the focus, you'll have a lot of options."
