The taste of Indian consumers are changing day by day. Some judge the product by its price and some, by the Brands. The price fluctuations in a brand can create different effects in the minds of consumers. So do you think the customers are becoming brand conscious or price conscious?
 
Indian consumer give importance to price doesn't mean that they buy cheap products.They look for reasonable price.They don't blindly buy things because they are branded, Celebs can be considered as exception.They look for quality products with reasonable price..
 
less price doesnt mean that its a low quality product and also high price doesnt mean that its a high quality product this differentiation comes just because of branding strategies that the company adopts
 
Majority of indian consumers are price conscious however, there is a shift in the trend where more and more people are becoming brand conscious, even a little shift in the price doesnt make a difference.
 
nw a days, people r going for brand rather den price............bt still price wins over brand in indian market..........
 
price is not a function of cost, it is dependent on org. philosophy and objective......

costs make out floor price.....
