i have heard about ims book and about bookhive's.can anyone suggest me which book are available and which are best in explanation.

There is no book from IMS which gives u previous year's CAT papers unless you're an IMS student.

To my best knowledge, the study material prepared by these institutes is good enough to crack all the MBA exams. So if u don't wish to join, you could contact some friend or senior for their material, which they will no longer need.
 
I have the following doubts in 2003 cat paper. I would be grateful if somebody could clarify this. Thks in advance.
1. Question No.(7) says 300% higher surface area and in the solutions it is given as 30% higher. Which is correct?

2. Question No.(9) 2a+6d = 3a + 27d
a+21d = 0 i.e., 22nd term
whereas solution says
a+11d = 0
= 12th term is 0
Which is correct?

You have not mentioned from which post are you referring the paper. Different posts have different versions of the same paper and hence the question numbers will vary.

I looked up at a couple of posts, but couldn't find it. Post the link of the post from where you downloaded the paper.

I downloaded the CAT 2003 question paper and solutions from the site www.catalyst4cat.com. Someone has uploaded the file in CAT aspirants 2007 - yahoo groups site. Request please check and clear my doubts. Thanks in advance.
