Preventive War

A current preventive war doctrine targets 'rogue states' that pursue or possess programs for WMD. As North Korea, Pakistan, and Iran, all develop into unique and complicated situations, should a doctrine of preventive war be appropriate for the US and acceptable to the UN?

The United States has never undertaken a "preventive" war in all of its history. (Some would say that invasion of Panama that led to the capture of Manuel Noriega was preventive rather than preemptive, and maybe it was. But that was a relatively low-level incursion with a few troops, that lasted longer than the interventionists expected but still was over fairly quickly. Even the most modest plans against Iraq are more ambitious and costly by orders of magnitude

US and UN security have no right to launch a preemptive strike against any nation without proper reasons like genocide or invasion of any country.

Its is amusing to see the God-less west preach human rights and liberation while it stands on a carnage of humanity with muslims being the major sufferers.West wants to impose it God-less secular "liberating" ideology to the whole world including the muslim lands which it has no right to.all west is engaged in is blatant imperialism all for that imposter state of israel.

I think it is good to have preventive strikes to keep the war at bay.It helps sometimes. When things go out of hand you need someone to really take control of the situation.

US surely have the power to launch a preventive war on lesser countries who would not be able to defend themselves. But, I don't think preventive war is justified in any circumstances.
