Powerful industry connect: key to placements at MDI Gurgaon

Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon, which has been consistently ranked between 5 to 10 in the super league band of B-Schools and one of the most sought after destination for CAT toppers, released it final placement report for the batches 2014-16. Leading corporate across India participated in the placement process which successfully completed with students placed across various functions of their choice. The class of 2016 with a total of 333 students 237 from PGPM program, 61 from PGP Human resource management and 35 from PGP International management, is a diverse batch in terms of gender, academic background, culture and work experience. The average CTC across the 3 flagship courses saw a 13% increase over the previous year with the highest domestic CTC offered increasing by a remarkable 27.5% to INR 32.1 LPA. 106 students received Pre-Placement Offers either from their summer internship organizations or through various B-school competitions.

“MDI has developed a strong industry connect and our students are a preferred lot when it comes to placements. A great deal of emphasis is given to make them understand the practices and work culture of the industry. Through hands-on exposure they readily relate to roles they are expected to play once they step out of the campus” said Dr. C. P. Shrimali, Acting Director at MDI Gurgaon.

The entire batch had offer letters from the first 123 companies which visited the campus for placement.
