Hi friends,
Women in India have occupied the highest offices of the President and the Prime Minister. Several State Governors and Chief Ministers have been (are) women. Women are in top decision making postions in the government and private organisations. Women are now employed by the armed forces and police in increasing numbers. Women not only aspire to become airline cabin crew, but captains of international jets. Women are not satisfied to be nurses, but are capable doctors. The women in India enjoy greater respect and equality than in most other countries around the world.
