hope everyone to be in finest of their health!! must say really bold topic to start with!!ahha!! ok here are MY views!!!

pornography: the explicit representation of the human body or sexual activity with the goal of sexual arousal.
"erotica" refers to portrayals of sexually arousing material that hold or aspire to artistic or historical merit, whereas "pornography" often connotes the prurient depiction of sexual acts, with little or no artistic value.

watching a porn has its own implication... one starts having an urge to do the same... may take certain steps taht they may regret later( if tahts a girl!!) also may lead to crime( in boys generally!!)if the other person resists..
so my theory is its fine taht sex is am imp part of our life but to make a person sexually active artificially( i mean arousing his urge by prompting him/her to watch others doing the same!!) is like giving a triggering of a reaction which may have serious implications.also i fail to understand wats the motive behind it?

if it has any scientific importance then i would like to hear taht!!!

I dont think there is any scientific evidence.

Its just a form of entertainment for western countries where every relation is fragile, theres lack of human emotions.

The eastern world has followed their steps.

Well pornography is sourse of entertainment but there should be age limit (18 and above) as stated in law. but now a days u can get porn films easily in the market and usually one may see that usual customers r school/college kids.
but note should b also taken that its also used by some Doctors for their patients. yes doctor do recommend to watch some porn to the couple who r not enjoying their sexual life. also it is essential in order to keep 1ce married life in proper timing (may couple now a days complaint that their spouse dosent satisfy him/her)
So it has its own pros and cons. well but it really affect the youth. It affects equally to boys and girls @ the same level. both of them get equally motivated and then loose the control.

which doctor asks u to watch porn to keep married life intact... For your information, a doctor will never advice you to watch a porn movie, since the way in which sexual intercourse is depicted in them, is not really what couples should try.

Generally, doctors will first do medical check up and then advice the couple about sexual intercourse. Lastly, they would advice them to check up some sex-aids, but definitely porn.

Another thing is, that most people generally check up with sex-aid movies only and not porn. Sex-aid movies are educational. Porn is not. Even body (esp women) will not like to see porn and then do something like that.

In my opinion, pornography should be kept under a strict vigilance. Thanks to the internet, porn stuff is now freely available to one and all and its extremely difficult to keep a check.

As they say, everything in a limit is fine..... but with what pornography is heading to, i think it is affecting the children, the most, teaching them incorrect sex education.

-Is it possible to have a ban on pornography in this era of internet.I guess the ban will only be in papers.Itz all the moral responsibility of the individual to stay away from these contents.

pornography is not section driven ...it is a global term... how can it be banned ...suppose if u don't give a person an access his desires then he will find some or the other means to satisfy his thirst for the same which can be more harmful to society
 
as per techno " banning pronography is nt the solution" but its a good step to start with!! and all of those moral police kind of people should know that many of them do watch these stuffs themselves fr fun ....
 
pornography is obviously bad for women..as the topic says...especially when a girl's picture is taken thru mobiles (without her wish in som cases)...In this case lot of abuse happens the pic can be misused in any way...as we all know lot of cases hv happened...all this can damage a person's image be it boy or gal...it can futher hurt a person's self esteem... so pornography is bad...it does no good
