Marketing---open minded, socho hatke,,no maths required,,keep thinking........etc r some of the things that are required for a successful marketing career.
Note: even knowledge of finance is required when it comes to marketing of financial products.
Finance---analytical skills, sound conceptual knowledge on various topics, a peep into world markets..etc.....will lead to a good finance guy. Maths knowledge is not that much required as required in engineering.
