reusable bags are better for the environment and help in sustenance but plastic bags are more convenient portable and cost effective . depends on what you are considering as better

I have a different opinion though...Ecofriendly resuable bags are a must and should be used more often and should be promoted also but we cant do away with the plastic bags as such . take an example of something as coomon as milk .. how do you expect to market poly bags of milk .... add to it the cost of using jute/ cotton bags .. not everyone can afford them

My take is that eco frinedly bags are a thumbs up for the environment and use of plastic bags should be reduced to a bare minimum. Further if at all used plastic bags should be properly disposed off and ther should be a means to recycle such waste.
