University of Calcutta, Kolkata, announces admission for Ph.D in Geology for 2014 intake offered in Sedimentation, Petrology and Structural Geology at the Department.

Selection Procedure for PhD Geology 2014 Admission

• Candidates will be selected on the basic of their performance in the Research Eligibility Test (RET) and interview conducted by the university
• Candidates who have obtained M.Phil or M.Tech with examination scores valid on the day of holding the RET written examination need not appear again for the written examination

• RET Written Exam
  
  • Candidates who have already passed any national level tests like NET/GATE/SLET or, have obtained M.Phil, or M.Tech, with examination scores valid on the day of holding the RET written exam need not appear again for the written examination

Important Dates for PhD Geology 2014 Admission

• Last date for submission of application form: 09th Sept 2014 (Tuesday)
• Date of RET: 10th Sept 2014 (Wednesday, 12 noon to 2.30 PM)
• Declaration of result: 11th Sept 2014 (Thursday)
• Date of Interview: 12th Sept 2014 (Friday)
