PHD after MBA

Hello,

I am a graduate in Management. I completed my BMS degree in 2003. I am currently in process of preparing myself to appear for CMAT as I wish to pursue my Masters. My main aim to pursue PHD in General Management. I am currently working for an IT Service company having 7 years of work experience.

I am not sure but I think pursuing an MBA from IIM gives one only a PGDM degree and not a full fledged Masters degree which is very much essential for one when applying for Phd.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks,

Rajiv Iyer
