National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal announced admission for full time and part time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Engineering Communications, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences and School of Management for the session December 2015.
Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D Programs 2015:
# For full time Ph.D in Engineering Programs: Candidates should have M.Tech /ME or equivalent degree. Candidates should have passed the prescribed qualifying examination in first class with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 6.5/10 (6.0/10 in the case of SC/ST candidates) or not less than 60% aggregate marks(55% marks in the case of SC / ST candidates).
For full time Ph.D in Science & Humanities Programs:
# Candidates with valid GATE / NET scores only, are eligible for admission.
# Candidates should have M.Phil or equivalent degree, or M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech) / MA or equivalent degree.
# Candidates should have M.Phil or equivalent degree, or M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech) / MA or equivalent degree.
