All personnel including temporary workers who come into direct contact with the product are made to understand the importance of hygiene.
All are provided with clean uniform including head-gear, nose mask, footwear etc. and where required sterile uniform. The uniform is of non shedding material and is separate for working area and other areas. Separate change rooms with soap, disinfectants, towels, etc are provided for each sex.
The personnel are required to maintain proper body wash, nail, cleaning, hair cut and other hygienic necessities required before entering the premises. All staff and workers are totally forbidden from carrying food materials, eating and chewing of smoking tobacco in the production area.
1) PERSONNEL HEALTH REQUIREMENT:
The personnel working in Production Department are required to be free from serious illness, infectious diseases, open lesions, dermatological condition etc. Personnel suffering from common cold etc. are not assigned to production related activities. All personnel are required to undergo regular medical check up carried out by qualified Doctor arranged by the company once in a year, and their records are maintained to ensure that all the workers are free from contagious or obnoxious disease of skin.
2) FIRST AID FACILITIES:
Adequate first aid facilities are provided at various places in the factory in case of accident of injury. All the persons engaged in manufacturing activities have been instructed to report to the supervisor about any health complaints which may have any adverse effect on the product qualities.
3) PERSONNEL SAFETY:
Personnel are trained for fire fighting and to handle accidents, shocks, chemical injuries, gas leakages and hazardous and explosive materials. Special training is also conducted for people expected to work in oncology area.
