NEW YORK: Six in every 10 Americans have expressed concern that they, a friend or a relative may lose a job because the employer is moving it to a foreign country. According to a Gallup Poll Tuesday briefing, released earlier , 41% of the respondents said they are “very concerned” about outsourcing, and another 20% said they are “somewhat concerned.”

The survey, according to a Gallup release, was based on two sets of telephone interviews with 1,005 people over the age of 18, conducted from March 5 to 7 and again from March 8 to 11.
The question posed was: “How concerned are you, personally, that you, or a friend or relative might lose a job because the employer is moving that job to a
foreign country — very concerned, somewhat concerned, not too concerned, or not at all concerned?”
