Last couple of days really made the Indians glued to their television sets!!!
The railways budget, Sachin's double hundred and then the Union Budget.

I was just wondering that whether the walkout strategy adopted by the opposition really worth or should they be sensibly vocal within the parliament and ask logical issues to the government.

I feel the opposition didnt do their homework well!!!
what say folks?

I think it is time that govt. should stop subsidising petrol prices as most of it is used for private transport. Diesel prices should be kept under control till high inflation is tackled.

i agree but would like to mention that the move of opposition to walk out showed there helplessness to affect the working of the govt. may oppositions point be thought over

The opposition that exists today is hardly going to affect the ruling party. We need a strong opposition that will sit and discuss rather than walk out!

i could not agree to academicnomad more!!
This was exactly the point that i was trying to put forward.

I mean there are many other issues on which there can be serious debates -- such as:
  • Why the implementation of GST has been delayed
  • How the Govt. will ensure that the money given to agri/rural sector actually reaches the needy

That was the reason in my first post i reffered that the opposition needs to be 'sensibly vocal' and should have done their home work properly.
