Opposition & Ruling Party- Only Two Party Systems In India.

In most developed countries,two political parties are their. One rules and the other sits in opposition. They together work for the progress of their country. Even CHINA has agreed to bring democracy but without multiple parties.To me multiple parties are like political franchise to loot the people together.Even our ex presidents like Sh. Venkatraman and Abdul Kalam Aazad were having the same feeling of two politicle parties in the country. The parties in our country are so many that in the time to come we shall not be able to have single party rule. And to me, coalition governments can not do good for the country because the ruling party always busy in saving the govt. on one issue or the other. Whereas in 2 party system one party rules and the other sits in opposition to undo the wrong policies of the govt.
What I cxpect from people like Baba Ram Dev and other preachers who have mass following to spread this two party ideology in the public and even ask their followers to vote either for Congress or Bhartiya Janta Party. If public follows this pattern only people from these two parties will be elected.Majority party will form the government and the other will be opposition party. Other parties will vanish in the first election itself.

t should ,certainly be better as it would effectively eliminate chastest political parties and caste based politics once and for all.So the political parties in India would never agree to this idea as they want to continue the castes which they promise to eradicate .
A constitutional amendment is necessary for this purpose and this would never be possible in a cast ridden society of India .Good things are impossible to be done in Incredible India !
the two party system if introduced constitutionally would certainly eliminate casteist politics and pave way for a progressive politics and development of the country on sound lines by keeping the influence of castes out of the political life of the country.
Now you have apolitical party for every caste and sub caste in the southern states of India .The irony is that these are pampered by people who speak of social reformation and abolition of castes !

There are good uses and misuses of everything in the world. Same thing happened to our nation's democracy. Many people took the advantage of our democracy like equal right to do anything. That is why there are several political parties on the basis of caste, religion, minority.
