The Sensex closed at 17,098 up 104 points while Nifty shut at 5,124 up 35 point after trading in the range of 5,147- 5,092. The Small cap and Mid cap indices were also up by 1.04% and 0.69% respectively. The breadth continued to remain strong and the markets turnover recorded at Rs 79,899 Cr. The Nifty Mar Future ended with 6 points discount.
