Need your suggestions on my MBA

Friends,
I just started preparing for GMAT. I'm going to take my GMAT around December 2008. Is it necessary for me to wait till August to submit my application for business schools? I don't know anything about it and I'm very confused.

When can I submit my application to business schools in USA?
Are they accepting applications one year once?
How long would it take to prepare essays and recommendations to apply for the business schools?
How long do I need to wait to get response from them?


You might feel these are all unnecessary questions before taking GMAT. I'm going to quit my job and I don't want to sit at home for the whole year and enrolling into a business school.

hey i would like to help u on this matter can u pls tell me which university u planning to apply.cause policies of every uni deffers and so if u tell me which uni u looking for i would be helpful to gather info on it.thanks ne ways pl do reply.

thanks for the reply. I'm into marketing field and i'd like to choose marketing to study. I'm targeting top 20 schools in united states. please let me know your valuable suggestions on this...

I have 3.5 years of experience in marketing and i'm leading a team of 2 members. My designation is asst. marketing manager. I scored 84% in my graduation. How much credibility will i get with the above qualification? please let me know.

hey uma ur work ex is excellent and ur graduation percentage also rocks it will be very helpful for u when u apply.u said u appearing gmat.may i ask whether u consulting to an education counselor or agent.thanks i wil try ma best to help u out be in touch.thanks.bye.tc

I'm not consulting an education advisor's. but is it necessary to get in touch with them. I'm aiming Wharton and Harward. But I'll be happy even if i get admission for any biz school within top 10. Please let me know how much do i need to get in GMAT to get into a business school.

I'm not native engilish speaker
3.5 years of exp. in marketing in IT field
Designation: asst. marketing manager
UG %: 83.75%
in my Xth and XIIth I got, 86.6% and 84%
I'm planning to take my GMAT exam on Dec. But I'm in a situation to join in biz school in 2009. Is it possible? Help me to achieve and get into a very good school.
