Admissions for the above courses will be based on merit for their performance in Written Test and Personal Interview (P.I.). The written test conducted by the institute shall comprise of :

Computer Awareness

Candidates who have appeared for MAT/ATMA/CAT/XAT/ NAT are exempted from IBMR Written Entrance Test and will have to appear only for Personal Interview. Candidates wishing to appear for Written Test & or Personal Interview or only for Personal Interview must fill up the application form given in the prospectus. The Prospectus costs Rs. 1000/- only. The amount may be paid in cash or by Demand Draft in favour of Director, IBMR, Chinchwad, payable at Pune.

Candidates applying for the course must fill up and submit the application form enclosed in this prospectus. The form, completed in all respect is to be submitted at the institute's office, or the Centre in person. All academic Testimonial photocopies should be attached along with the application form.

Those candidates who have appeared for graduation examination and whose results are awaited will be granted provisional admission if selected. Their admission will stand cancelled if they fail to pass their graduation examination with the minimum percentage required. Concerned candidates should produce the proof of passing their graduation examination before the stipulated date.

The selected candidate should pay fees in full and secure admission. Those who fail to pay the fees before stipulated date will not have any claim on their seats. Those seats will be offered to the next candidate in the waiting list in the order of merit.

Reservation of seats

Wherever applicable the reservation of seats for candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Displaced Tribes, and Nomadic Tribes etc. will be as per the rules / norms of University of Pune and Govt. of Maharashtra. In case no suitable candidate is found in any particular category, then such a vacancy will be made available to other category, as per the prevalent norms / rules.

Admission to the part-time evening courses PGDBM/ MBS /PGDMLM/PGDMM
Admissions to the above mentioned courses will be based on performance in the personal interview, past academic records, professional experience.

Admission to all fulltime MBA / MCA
Admissions to the above mentioned courses will be centralised. 80% of the seats are admitted by the Government of Maharashtra (DTE), based on the MH-MBA/MCA -CET entrance exams.

If a candidate is allotted a merit seat by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State Government, he/she has to fill the institute’s application form and follow the admission process as mentioned by DTE. 20% of the intake is reserved for the eligible candidates under the Management seats for which the students may get in touch with the institute personally.

OBJECTIVE

Masters of business Admission at ASM’s IBMR is permanently approved by University of Pune & approved by AICTE. MBA at ASM’S IBMR, is one of the 'coveted' programs for achieving proficiency in all areas of Business Management & Administration credentials.
The MBA Course of studies spanning four semesters (Two years), provides a structured journey for the students to explore, learn and experience the Business Management subjects through rigorous class room lectures combined with continuous interactions with industry environment enabled through periodical industry visits, guest lectures and seminars from industry executives, Internship projects as per syllabus and many more opportunities.
Through the MBA Course of studies starting from fundamental issues of business management aspects, the students personalities undergo a metamorphosis in their capabilities to be industry ready and excel in their career objectives.
ELIGIBILITY FOR MBA
Candidates must possess a bachelors degree from a recognized university (appearing candidates are also eligible).
Student should have secured minimum 50% aggregate in graduation (45% in case of reserved category)
Candidates must have valid CMAT/CAT/MAT (Feb)/ XAT/ATMA or Association CET score

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission Process is centralized conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Students may also apply to the institute directly for the institute level seats.

INSTITUTE LEVEL ADMISSION:

For institute level admission candidates will have to send their 10th, 12th, Graduation mark sheet, entrance exam score card, & photo id proof either by email, by post or in person. Once the documents are verified the students will be informed of further procedure of admission either by mail or phone or in person. Incase the student is selected for institute level admission he/she will have to take the admission within the stipulated date specified by the institute by paying the tuition fees and submitting the relevant documents.
