Here are some pointers:
1. Dress the part - first impression last. Serious presentations require serious attire so people will take you seriously.
2. Set-up your presentation at least 15-30 minutes before call-time - just in case equipment f's up, you have enough time to find functioning ones.
3. Bulletpoint your presentation - dont just cut and paste your report, bullet important points and dont read on verbatim. Everybody can read as well as you do... doing so insults your audience.
4. Use big fonts (in powerpoint) so everybody can see your important points. Headlines at least 32 to 40 pts while topics/body at 24 to 32 pts. Try the 7 rule. 7 words across and 7 lines/sentences down.
5. Prepare hand-outs - so your audience can use it to follow your pace or they have reference or they can use it to take down notes.
6. Be creative.
7. Be yourself.

Hope this helps! :)

try to speak slowly and clearly. practice several times in front of the mirror. do mock presentation in front of your friends. nd dont be nervous.

Theres 1 more trick :d someone told me just picture everyone in their underwear that makes you feel more comfortable..he he lolz just kidding. Be confident, You should know what your speaking about do not mug up your topic.Jus maintain a good flow,be clear.See how the crowd responds,if they are yawning means its getting boring and you have to try to get their attention, speak up to the point the dont beat around the bush.Dont be nervous and even if you are pretend you are confident. And if you make mistakes dont stop and wonder why you did it,instead say sorry and go on from where you made the mistake,or the other option is to pretend you never made mistake and go on.Just stand stall and feel right!!!

What I do is, I watch a lot of english movies and serials and then I try to enact the actors with their accent.

I look in the mirror and I try to charm like James Bond .. its fun.. and it gives you a lot of confidence.

And.. psst ( you can score with the ladies if you get too good at it ) ;)
