Naxalism has, today become the single biggest threat to India's internal security. How serious is the threat of naxalism in India?

naxalism has become a very serious threat due to its spread in the country in some parts of AP and chattishgarh but i hope that it will be solved shortly

??? The naxalism started way back in 1967 in West Bengal due to wealthy individuals exploiting peasants for lands that were source of natural resources and were given meagre 0.5% of profit in return.State Govt’s inability to provide villages with basic amenities. This then lead to formation of the small groups fighting for their rights. Soon the structure evolved by getting a support from localites who were ready to fight for their rights. However firstly had clean motive that they were against government and capitalism now due to support and financial support they have taken this to another level by attacking civilians as well. While this is an condemnable act, govt has equally played a major part in allowing these changes to happen. It has been ignorant of their demands and has never initiated to have a dialogue with the leaders of these naxals. Deploying army will only curb the naxals but not naxalism as time will pass by a new generation of naxalites will born. So the solution is to try and have talks with the leaders of these groups and not just a talk but it should be followed by a prompt action by having the basic amenities and increasing the profit % they earn from profit of natural resources. Even Australia has 40% of profit going to the labourers whereas Indian govt has kept it to 0.5% which is condemnable. By saying so the threat that India poses due to naxalism is major however it has been the byproduct of inefficiency of respective state governments to handle the sensitive situations. If not handled correctly the naxals who have already started targeting civilians will do so to a major extent that they would be termed as Internal Terrorists.

The government will soon approve an Integrated Action Plan (IAP), including a financial aid of Rs 13,742 crore, for infrastructural development in Naxal-hit districts in the country.
They also preparing a well develop militant to fight against the Naxalism.

well naxalism is a biggest threat to our internal security but lets not discuss about problem lets discuss about its possible solution
