Hey! Can anybody help me with this?...
a. Find the Nash equilibrium (or equilibria) for a simultaneous-move, one-shot play of this game. Explain.
b. What outcome would you expect in this one-shot game? Why?
Firm 1 is horzontally, ABC and Firm 2 is vertically, ABC:
A B C
A 100,100 150,200 200,300
B 200,75 125, 150 225,195
C 300,200 100, 225 150, 250
I think it's a bit weird that at no point the column maximum for the first one matches up with the row-maximum for the second. So, i theree even a Nash equilibrium then?
Really appreciate your help. :SugarwareZ-286:
