there is a quite high risk in stocks compare to mutual funds
bt at dis time i would prefer investing in bluechip companies rather than investing in Mutual funds

rightly quoted by venga....blue chip companies r provin hieghts... secondly....stock markets arnt stable since long time nw...
also...depends on whr u investin..open ended or close ended fund... growth ratio ..etc etc... so one cnt just merely suggest u..whch is better..

now...mutual is better...tomm it can b stocks...n vice versa...

Well i would say if you have the expertise go with your guts on the stocks and if you dont let the experts work for you with mutual funds.
Investing right now go for a dsp small cap ipo (mutual fund) its a good buy if hittin the market directly opt for blue chip less risk moderate returns.

More you can shoot anytime you like and if you queries in regards with specific stocks do hit it..!!

Well what i feel If u want assured small returns go with Mutual Funds.

but if u ready to take Risks then invest in Stocks and earn more than u can Dream.

Sensex touched 18k with help of some gre8 Fundamental Stocks like Infy, L&T, Bharti, BHEL.

Companring the returns in above mentioned stocks they are higher than any mutual Fund in a year.
