Mumbai's Spirit collapsed into one man's Political Aspirations ?

The recent events in MUMBAI have dented the cosmopolitan spirit of the city. The MNS has gone onto an irrational rampage which has done nothing but instilled skepticism in the minds of INDIANS about the safety of NON-Maharashtrians in Mumbai. Its just not a question of a city but the question of having the freedom to live and think freely without any inhibitions. Its the political ambitions of one person which have translated into homelessness for many, and this is nothing but deplorable.
Its all right being patriotic on the world cup finals, Republic day and Independence day but its not enough. The recent events demand an awakening, an awakening that can establish the spirit of brotherhood and prosperity. So pour in your views here and show that you are indeed a true INDIAN!!!!

I think The concept arised that "mumbai belongs to only marathi people" is totally false... Coz first of all India is a democratic country and every people has right to stay whereever he wants... its not like 1 city belongs to 1 caste only... its for every1 who comes in and makes the country and city developed.. india believes in "one for all and all for one" and also it has quality of " unity in diversity" which makes india unique from others.. from so many past years.. so when people in india are ready to live with peace and unity and are together bringing up the country.. who are we or how can a single person come and divide us on the issue of castism and racisim.. its absoloutely wrong that these politicians play games with the emotions of the people just for their own benefit which must not be done at all... we all indians and mumbaikars of all caste might be marathi, bengali, U.P, christians, etc.. show them that "we are one and we will be one always..." .
 
I second the idea of "Mumbai belongs only to Marathis" is absolutely false.First and foremost we must be grateful to Big B for starting schools for Girls and this idea must also be extended for boys.Instead we are trying to digress the talk by "Mumbai is only for Marathis".We can request the corporates to emulate this idea not only in Mumbai but also in various parts of the country.The allegations of Raj T is baseless.Legally Big B has all rights to invest his money in any part of the country.So trying him to restrict only to Maharashtra is not good for the deed which he has done.So the politician is actually trying to blow this into political issue .
 
Whatever point Raj T is raising must be seen in different perspective.He is using it for vote bank but Migration is really a issue in bombay.There is large difference in development of infra & Jobs availability in other states specially UP/MP etc.There must be something done to this state we can not stay on only hand full of city like delhi,bomaby & banglore only.
 
i agree The concept "mumbai belongs to only marathi people" is totally false n i'm really happy that the youngsters like us r not effected by this baseless issue.if v youngster start thinking like this dan ofcause v can't lead our country v are a developing nation n as if such issue started taking place dan obvoiusly any country any nation cannot succed in their life. n crzly i'm very happy wid u'r views n opinion. n i wud lik 2 thanks nitin 4 raising such imp issue.

Mumbai is a truly Cosmopolitan city and it is true that
"MUMBAI NEVER SLEEPS"
