Some new theories have come but the conventional wisdom still remains the same

When I told my boss I am leaving the job to pursue MBA.
7. “Earning in 6 digits” is the motive behind doing MBA? Is it justifiable?
ROI is imp. But it is not the end of life other things like happiness,leisure etc. are also more imp.
8. Do you think the MBA course curriculum is at par with industry expectations?
Yes atleast in my college i.e Welingkar.I think PG has more updated syllabus than MMS.
9. What suggestions would you like to give to enhance MBA today?
Nothing much SIPs should be given more weightage
10. Is the Name of the Institute from where a student does his/her MBA important while entering into corporate world?
For initial period yes but after that it’s just on ur talent.
11. What message would you like to give to the students aspiring to work at management level?
Nothing much enjoy and do what u are best at!!Also rem competition is vast in India so be on ur toes i.e.be aware of the current happenings etc.
12. [/b]What are your views on the Entrance Exams for Professionals courses? [/b]
Pathetic it’s just @ screening and not evaluating pure talent. But it’s a must if one wants to get admissions in top B schools.GD/PI is very imp. Becoz it is there where ur true management skills are checked.
13. What do Corporate’s expect from MBA professionals?
Maturity, responsibility they want u think out of the box.
14. What piece of advice would you give to a student aspiring for an MBA?
All the best the worst is yet to come!! Work hard and do just 2 things = work sincerely and ask questions with curiousity.
