he is an icon, a superstar, a person whom ppl of India even worship...but then hez jus like any other human being who has 2 earn for his living..he is an actor n being paid for wht he does..so whts wrong if takes up movies n ads like boom..after all its a part of his career n hez jus doin tht.........
 
mr amitabh has reached at such a stage where he need nt bother abt his image... its way up in the sky... whtever he is doing at present ... in film industry and also in the ad world..just proves his desperation for money money and money... he has forgotten tht in long run...its gonna hurt his own image... n this has been noticed many times...whn he took up movie like..boom...nishabd...etc...

whn he tries 2 defend himself sayin..these r creative scrpits n riles whr he loves 2 wrk with..its just a fake answer i guess...

i personally feel tht...since abhishek is now proving himself a...worth actor... and ash coming 2 thier family...mr bacchan should restrict himself 2 top clas roles... n nt run into takin projects whch makes ppl thnk the other side of his image....tht he has created..

who has given this image to him....its "WE-THE PEOPLE"...n now the 1s who criticise abt him working for movies like boom,nishabd or kbc or whtever..r d same.."WE-THE PEOPLE"....AS i hv posted abv, hez an actor, being paid for wht he does n is simply doin his job...its "we-the people" who has given him the status of a "rolemodel"..n so 1 cannot see him taking up al such roles....
had it been sum1 else doin it, it wudnt hv been a big issue...coz tht "sum1 else" was nt given the honour n status of "rolemodel" by us...so thrs nuthn wrong if MR. BACHCHAN takes up such roles..wht is wrong is out thnking n attitude..its d way we look at it.....
 
Hi,
Big B has built an image and advertisers want to make use of that brand.I wud say itz normal for a human like Amitabh to do advertising with the such a brand name, if the advetisers are ready to offer him crores of rupees.(who will reject such offers in this world).

Afterall ,Mr.B is nt the only person in this world doing ads with his brand name.Think about Hollywood/sportspersons.

Its the advertising arena.Itz nt logical to point fingers only towards Bachan.

I'd disagree.

Why is there a ban on scenes where actors smoke !? Its because people associate with that image and it does no good to the society.

Similarly with Mr. Bachchan, people take him as a role model / father figure. He has a certain impact and influence on the masses. I mean here is a man who promotes polio vaccinations and aid campaigns and on the contrary takes up roles which are misleading the society.

I think its all about the Money. $-)
 
its high time mr bachchan retires
some the movies hes doin right now is really aweful ( for instance alladin, rann blah blah0

new talent needs more space....
 
everyone craves for money. no matter how much you have but still the thirst for money is not quenched. the same goes for mr. amitabh bacchan.

Bacchans have always worked for fame and name becz they know money follows fame......
 
I dont think bachchan needs to work for his image. He is already a god in the eyes of public. He is definetely working for money..
 
I think Amitabh is working for his image. If it was money that lures him then he wont be doing adds for polio campaign or for incredible india. And by doing so if he earning good that dosnt mean he is working for money !!!!
