Will the society lose its morals in relationships if there is medicine for aids??? what impact does it make on the society??
 
AIDS patients are neglected not because of the reason tht it has no cure but for the reason that its cause is related to sexual activities
 
It appears that most of the attempts to cure AIDS and to prevent the spread of the HIV virus have relied solely on scientific reasoning and only few people do talk on the moral approaches. I think the wide spread of the disease can be reduced with people being more fidelity with their sexual partner, but it spread like a burning fire in a dried grassland. Even to the point of endangering the lives of innocent new born babies.
 
It is recognised that the medical paradigm for the campaign to deal with the AIDS pandemic is too narrow. This is a community problem and must be attacked with all the resources the community has - medical, spiritual, social, economic and political. Modern rationality, which does not always embrace African belief systems, shuns traditional health care approaches rooted in the role played by ancestors. Clearly this inadequate approach must be broadened by listening to traditional spirituality and morality.
