Sri Balaji VidyaPeeth Deemed University (SBVDU), Puducherry announced admission for Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Pondicherry, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences and Shri Satya Sai Medical College and Resaerch Institute, Thiruporur, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences Pondicherry, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Post Basic B.Sc and Master of Science (M.Sc) Nursing at Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College programs for the session 2016.
Eligibility Criteria for SBVDU, Puducherry:
For MBBS Programs: Candidates should have passed the HSc examination conducted by the board of higher secondary examination of Tamil Nadu or other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC) in the subjects-Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/ Zoology)/ Bio-Technology. Candidates must have taken English as a core subject.
For B.Sc Nursing Program: Candidate for admission to the first year Nursing Course should have passed the H.Sc (Academic / Vocational) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC) in any one of the following three groups combinations and should have studied English as one of the Subjects.
For M.Sc Nursing Program: Candidate should have qualified with the degree of Basic B.Sc(Nursing)/ PB B.Sc (Nursing) of Pondicherry University or the degree of any other University recognized as equivalenttheretobythe Pondicherry University.
