practical knowledge with an MBA degree is good always , its only india where it is the concept of running for mba degree right after graduation,,, whereas it is not same in other developed countries there we first have job experience then go for any add on MBA skills ............

this is really gud......yes i agree with u.,..that there might be 1000 reasons for doing an mba....but u shud know even before starting...that wat u wanna achieve by doing mba......wat say guys....

As far as i'm concerned, MBA is just teaching wht v already know.. But for the purpose of getting placed in a reputed company, an MBA degree is needed.

Wht is left inside is something called "GLOBAL" (I am saying dis particularly of marketing zens).. bt still it change ur perspective a lot.. and a lot of "gyan" is added too...

ok...nw lemme tk this as an opportunity and amend the course of discussion.....
lets agree that majority here thinks that mba is necessary for one reason or two....nd hence the necessity of mba....
but wat abt the institutes which do nt provide the quality education....or facilities....due to all this.....many students...hu are attracted towards mba just because of the hype......find themselves cheated....and betrayed....
so considering this fact isnt it hight time....the system shud churn out quality professionsls....rather than just adding up numbers

i agree bcoz no opposition and as usual every coin has two sides so it reflects differently very time.
and the saturation level ya... u culd just twist the topic...

now my view regarding the quality...
the hype has already made people to get into mba any how by mgmt quota or by doing it frm any university
surely increasing the view towards education but
to achiev the quality surely u need good grades
and for that people are working hard
so frm todays condition it is sure tht MBA could be done by any one but matters is its value
bcoz just earning money is now institute focus rather than providing quality..
i think this in a short time will change as students who r now are getting aware of it and thay will change the scenario in few yrs..
so the hype is beneficial to encourage more MBA's

thats true.....that students are getting aware.....but there is a void.....between the number of students opting for mba....and the number of instititutes that can provide quality education.....and agreed that situation might change in few yrs...but the thing is that "few" in india is nothing short of 10 15 years.....so till then.....ur and mine children may still be studying in a private institiute, just for the sake of doing mba

NOt at all necessary... just what matters at last is the experience not the degree.. after graduation get urself a job experince of 2-3 years rather than a mba degree..

it differs a lot.. in case of salary, growth and knowledge
may be job provides u all best things but yet degree is degree..
