Ruby - is a red gemstone that varies from a light pink to a blood red, a variety of the mineral corundum(from Tamil kurundam) (aluminium oxide). The color is caused mainly by chromium. Its name comes from ruber, Latin for red. Other varieties of gem-quality corundum are called sapphires. It is considered one of the four precious stones, together with the sapphire, the emerald and the diamond.
Rubies are mined in Africa, Asia, Australia, Greenland, Madagascar and North Carolina.

Ruby is one of the most expensive gem stones on planet earth and today wherein common man struggles to make both his ends meet it is not easy for everyone to afford such an expensive product , but that does not restrict them for having a dream of wearing One , we at Culture understand customer needs hence have launched Safmarine.

Safmarine – How do we derive an artificial Ruby ?
To be very honest we really do not make it at home nor do we buy it from the market.
When the thought came to our product reseacher Mr. Shreyans Ashar with Colabration with Ms. Alisha Jain, they did a lot of research about imitation ruby, and then they came to an conclusion with the help of Adhikari Brothers Labortaries who gave us the formula that said by fusing BaF2 and Al2O3 with a little Chromium at red heat, would create Artificial of unpolished ruby. Something like this

After which at our manufacturing units we polished it and put in the necklace. We got the samples made from them got them tested from other labs and only after full satisfaction we decided to go ahead and weave the dreams that people have seen.



Now we have the Ruby, we came to the later stages of manufacturing; we then picked up the mantra of reasonable and attractive beads.







A bead is a small, decorative object that is pierced for threading or stringing. As an alternative to piercing, plastic beads may be Moulded Onto a Thread during manufacturing; these beads are often used for the throw necklaces worn at Mardi Gras. Beads range in size from under a millimeter to over a centimeter or sometimes several centimeters in diameter. Glass, plastic, and stone are probably the most common materials, but beads are also made from bone, horn, ivory, metal, shell, pearl, coral, gemstones, polymer clay, metal clay, resin, synthetic minerals, wood, ceramic, fiber, paper, and seeds. We have launched safmarine in a grand way. Safmarine is selected for a particular theme. As our tag line says kings of style for queens of fashion, safmarine would be worn by queens of this generation. There are hoardings placed at different places to catch the eye of the viewers. Brochures have been distributed in several areas and centralized markets. Safmarine has not been revealed in the market till date. We are launching our product safmarine on 26th September 2007. Along with this, we will be launching one more innovative product on the same day itself. So here comes a double surprise from culture. Don’t miss it.

The most precious thing for a person is his name. He is recognized in the society by his name. Uptill now we have seen handkerchiefs with initials. So we thought why not create something different in order to leave an impact of his name on the person at the other end. Pamphlets describing our products have been distributed at several places and we are trying to capture the masses attention by giving them lucrative offers at reasonable rates. We had placed stalls of our products to get the response of the viewers at various malls like ATRIA MALL (Worli) , INORBIT (Goregoan – Malad link road) AND THE MALL( At Malad). And we have received a good response from the customers.we have visited several exhibitions and expos in metropolitan cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai displaying our products and we have successfully captured the masses attention.

Our main target are college going students who likes to wear hip-hop ,trendy and funky jewelry. These college going girls can match them up with their apparels and accessories depending on the changing fashion trends. We update our products with the changing fashions regularly. We also ask our customers to suggest us with their ideas.We are open to suggestions and improvements in our products style. The most important aspect of our product is the attraction which binds the customer to buy it.So we give a lot of emphasis on customer’s taste,his likes,dislikes.As the proverb goes “No two person has the same fingerprints” similarly no people have different tastes differing from person to person.
For instance a simple girl would like her jewelry to be minimalistic. So,according to her taste ,we design a semi-long necklace of singular black-beads. Some girls like the junk looks so as per their requirements we select metallic metallic shades and wide colourful beads to match up with their style.
