Master in Creativity and Entrepreneurship
Why studying in Pavia?
Founded in a.d. 1361, University of Pavia is one
of the oldest universities in the world. Today Pavia
is a vibrant and modern city in the outskirts of
Milan's area (15 minutes by train), rich in business
ventures and cultural heritage. Its university hosts
a number of research centres and schools which
are world-renowned. That's why at University of
Pavia we believe that the right mix in today's
education results from the combination of tradition
with innovation. Reading this brochure you will
learn how our Master in Creativity and
Entrepreneurship is a true demonstration of this.
- Historical location of the University of Pavia's
Animal Biology Department. Built in XIX century, the palace reflects
the Italian Renaissance style, with a bizarre touch: two minarets
are located on the palace's sides.
- Originally built as a monastery, this
building is today home of the University of Pavia's Department of
Philosophy. The church is being studied by the Research Centre
on the Cultural Heritage Preservation.

Italy is home to many successful business ventures
which constitute the internal engine of its economic
system and which are based on the concepts of
creativity and entrepreneurship.
This phenomenon spans across several industries,
from fashion to interior design, from food to retail.
The majority of Italy most successful
entrepreneurial companies have been substantially
influenced by two kinds of skills/competencies:
how “creative” business opportunities are
identified and built into real companies
how resources are matched with creativity and
opportunity
Today there is not a training programme which is
able to formalize and transfer these competencies
That’s why Multimedia Campus – Università di
Pavia has decided to develop a Master Programme
entirely devoted to the issues of creativity and
entrepreneurship.
Master in Creativity and Entrepreneurship
- This area hosts University of Pavia's scientific
departments. The glass building with a circular shape is the
premises of Multimedia Campus, the University of Pavia's branch
focusing on multimedia post-graduate education.
