Manchester United : Will they succeed under David Moyes[/b]
Manchester United have hired David Moyes after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson who was legend in the club and have managed the club for more than 25 years.
Hiring of David Moyes has been a downfall for Manchester has the previous season’s winners have secured a position in the 6th place of the Barclays Premier League. The champions have a string of loses with a lot of mistakes committed in the Mid field as well as the defense. The only position which is strong for the team is the attack. Forwards Wayne Rooney and Daniel Welbeck are in a super form but due to the lack of proper Mid fielders and defensive players they haven’t been able to display their talent. Javier Hernandez also has been sidelined and couldn’t display is scintillating form. Out of form wingers Nani and Ashley Young have been a weak link in the team and haven’t delivered properly. Veteran Mid fielders Michael Carrick and Daniel Fletcher have been holding the fort for Manchester United. Adnan Janujaj have showed a marvelous game talent and could be a permanent answer for the teams weakening mid field. Veteran Mid Fielder Ryan Giggs who is 38 years old have still been playing for the champions and have been instrumental for them. Shinji Kagawa who was signed from Borussia Dortmund last season has not been used upto his talent and has been sidelined. Recent signings Marounne Fellaini and Juan Mata have been used up to their mark and have been some revalation for them.
Defensive problems have been on the rise with the ageing defensive duo Nemadja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand who are leaving the champions in the next season. Patrice Evra has been holding the right back defensive position for quite a few years but he too is leaving the champions with the transfer to Inter Milan next season. Nemadja Vidic has already signed a deal with Inter Milan. Ferdinand is retiring next season or could leave for the States.
A silver lining for the club could be the signing of William Carvalho for the next season from Sporting Lisbon and Toni Kroos from Bayern for the next season. DAVID Moyes has to sign players and let go of a few players to reclaim their title for the next season.
