MAN-YOU (MANagement AND YOUth)

‘Management’ what a heavy word…oh my god… While in junior college this word was used somewhere in some subject we don’t even tend to remember. We never thought we would ever be using such a heavy word again in life. But this attitude changed when a course named BMS was introduced in degree college.BMS- 3 alphabets but this is just the beginning the scary part is yet to come that’s the full form of these letters which is BACHELOR OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES... The word ‘bachelor’ was bearable because all courses had that word in it, the word ‘studies’ was also very much heard we have been hearing it from childhood..But the deadliest of all the word was MANAGEMENT. This word sounds tacky kind of hi-fi for a normal college going youth to even think of.

This was just the start of a journey filled with words easy to say but hard to implement and in some cases even the pronunciation was difficult. The subjects in this field were even more scary as all had the word MANAGEMENT in it. It was difficult to digest in the start but later it became a part of the life of students taking up these courses. Today’s youth being the most chilled out had a lot to do with this word. Come on we all know how important management is to pass in all subjects with bunking half of the lectures.

Management to begin with according to the youth is nothing but managing time with some more other things going in their life. Best example is managing their girlfriends with their limited pocket money. Taking all towards the bookish knowledge” Management is an art of getting things done through[/i] others”[/i]. The same ways as you convince the person you hate, to do your homework just to be saved from the teacher. Management is not such high funda as it is thought to be.

Youth in today’s time have taken management to a new level. They are just not restricted to books but have expanded their knowledge out of the box. We can all see the youths at the age of 20 start working and also study at the same time. Management is not a board game to be played only by sitting on one place but it’s an outdoor game where physical as well as intellectual points are to b considered and the youths have mastered in this game for sure. They manage to catch up their sleep in lectures but also having their notes up-to-date now that’s a task of a player.

Though youths are always blamed for not having managing skills but the truth is that they have changed the meaning of the word to suite our caliber .They still manage to catch up a 9:13 Churchgate local to reach office by 10 and complete their assignment in the train. But still with all such troubles and with such workloads they still manage to message their friends and ask ‘how are they?’ [/i]

Now that’s what we call as MANAGEMENT.
