Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Hotel Management shortly called as MMICT & BM came into existence in the year 2002 and the college is acting as a constituent unit of the Maharishi Markandeshwar University located in Ambala. Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology:

The duration of this course is four year and the institute is approved with an intake capacity of 120 students per year for this course.

Bachelor of Hotel Management – Master of Business Administration:

The duration of this integrated course is five year and the institute is approved with an intake capacity of 60 students per year for this course. In this course, candidates are offered the option of discontinuing the course after completion of four year Bachelor of Hotel Management course.

Bachelor of Science in Hospitality management:

The duration of this course is three year and the institute is approved with an intake capacity of 60 students per year for this course.

Master of Science in Dietetics:

The duration of this course is two years and the institute is approved with an intake capacity of 40 students per year for this course.
 
Eligibility requirement and admission procedure:

For seeking admission to UG courses and integrated course, candidates must have completed their senior secondary examination with not less than 50%u0025 of marks, which is 40% for reserved category candidates with at least five subject including English as a subject from a recognized university or board. In the process of admission, 75% is open seats and 25% is management quota seats, which includes 15% for wards of NRIs. candidates will be selected based on the marks secured by them in the qualifying examination. For M. Sc course admission, candidates must have completed their UG degree from an approved institution and in the selection process, weightage will be given to marks secured by the students in the degree course of hotel management.
