Love marriage Vs Arranged marriage

obviously..love marriage. but for some guys.. who find it difficult to find lover (i mean...face difficulty in deciding who is the right one 4 them).. arrange is the only option......
 
I feel love marriage is much better. You get to know more about the person whom u love; And if it is accepted by your parents/elders then it is a real boon. :)
 
But in love marriage you will get bored becoz u already know each and every dimension of the person n ur expections will be pretty high which is sumtimes difficult to fulfill for both sides..
 
well its a personal prerogative to choose weather he wud like to settle with a parrnter of his choice or go according to his family's wishes
 
friends it depends may be for some knowing a girld before marriage is good an for some it be boring afermy point of view is u need a gud patner wether a love marrige or arrange marriage ag precepion of people is mostly love marriage end in diveroce but if u had a gud patner it can last ofrever we can see diveroce in arrange marrige to .
 
Looking at the trend that youngsters today follow and also taking into consideration the fact that we are moving ahead culture wise, love marriages are a good way for people to get into a relationship. The couple tend to know each other, understand each other better and are more comfortable starting a new life together. Also they are not forced. So there are chances that they will be better off. parents must support this & give their wards guidelines & advice as to how to choose their future bride/groom
 
Love marriage and arranged marriage both works equally with adjustment & committment.
Love Marriage is better in most cases if Accepted easily in Family.
 
I would Prefer Love Marriage over Arrange Marriage, though I don't completely disagree with Arrange Marriage. Generation today has changed, and moved forward with a very high degree of self-respect, privacy and in terms of taking their own decisions.

Earlier, the common trend was that the parents decided whom to marry, taking into account the family history, members, their status, religion and other things which even their children never used to bother.

Now a days, the children decide for themselves whom to marry and spend their entire life with ... which is actually goood because you know the person inside out whom you're marrying. Both the persons are acquinted with each other and know each other very well which is a very goood thing to gel them together and take decisions
.
How much ever we say that parents are cool now a days and all, but somewhere even they tend to feel that we never got the chance to see a boy/girl for our children, that hurts them ... but they never show. I am not generalizing it, but lot of parents agree just for the sake of their children so that they can be happy after marriage.

I'm of the opinion that, even if parents oppose Love marriage, they should at least give the Liberty to their children, a chance for their children to know the person they are marrying ... how much ever they can. They can set up a meeting, talk to each other, let the boy - girl talk to each other in private. If they like each other ... they can ask them to spend some time with each other ... like for some days or months ... in that way both of them would be able to know each other, though not completely .. at least they will know how much compatible are they with each other.If it works, well and goood ! If it doesn't ... no one is at the losing end. :)
 
I don't think in America or any developed country are preferring Arrange marriage. But if you look at the status, More no of divorse are happenned to them. In country like India because of arrange marriage, you won't find that no of divorces. Just tell me the love of... Heer-Ranjha, Laila-Majnu, Veer-Zara........ mile hi nahi......

Please understand that she has to stay with your Parents, you will come from the office in night only............ If they don't like her then it would be very difficult for the life......
I would prefer the Arrange Marriage......... obviously it should by my choice to select the girl then it comes to the Parents.
