Life in Mumbai

"Ye hai Mumbai meri jaan!!!" i.e. This is Mumbai, my love.... These were the words sung by Mohammad Rafi in a old Bollywood film CID beautifully enacted by Johnie Walker. Is speaks about the life in Mumbai, the ups and downs, and that its tough to live here. But whatever it is, we have to live here happily and joyfully.

Life in Mumbai is a fast paced life. It doesn’t wait for you nor you can afford to live very easy. You have be on the move, day in and day out. Mumbai makes you tough. It enables you to fight against any storm and gives you a strong meaning to live your life.

Many come here from far and wide to earn a living. Mumbai doesn’t disappoint any. Even the beggars on the road have enough to eat. Work is a plenty, skilled manpower is required. The influx of individuals seeking employment in Mumbai find their dream job and do not go back. They ultimately settle here.

Settling in Mumbai is become a dream reality to many. Whether you want stay in a ‘chall’, or own an apartment, live in a flat, or have your very own bungalow – its all here. Most of the people here have a roof over their head and sleep under the hustle and bustle of the streets.

Mumbai is called the Financial Capital of the country and rightly so. All the import-export of the country is done through Mumbai. All the best or worst products come here. The Financial hub of the country has many businessmen and entrepreneurs wanting a piece or rather the entire plate of goodies to themselves.

We underestimate what this city has done for us; it has given us more than food, clothing and shelter. It has given us life. I love my Mumbai!!
