Last Day Strategy[/b]
Considering it is the last day, it makes sense to go through the concepts of quant, grammar rules, other formulas and if you have made some notes while studying in the last two months do go through them.
Another suggestion is to go through the practice papers you have solved and check the mistakes you have made....so that when you go to write the paper on Sunday you remember them and not repeat them...(this is what i actually did)
Strategy for the Paper[/b]
In any type of paper, it is necessary to glance through the paper at the very start to get a feel of the paper, assess its difficulty and also select the questions you want to solve. Do this even of it takes about 5 minutes of your time. It is better to spend time glancing through the paper rather than repent on missing on the easy questions as you did not get time to read the questions due to a time crunch.
1. Easy paper: Speed and accuracy both become key. Aim at about 180-190 questions. In such a paper follow your usual strategy. Solve your strengths and be sure to go through the whole paper for sure.
2. Difficult paper: In such a paper, your aim should be to solve about 170-175 questions. Here accuracy becomes the key. Also solve your strengths first. Do not spend more time on the questions that are difficult. In the CET paper it is foolish to give more than 90 seconds for any question.
De-stressing is Important[/b]
The best way to de-stress before the exam is to go for a walk the night before and sleep well. I always reached the centre early and in my attempt not to take tension seeing other students' faces, I usually go to sleep on my seat for half an hour.
Always mark the answers after solving a few questions. Do not wait till the end. Sometimes the stress of the last few minutes will make you mark wrong options. Do not ask a lot of people about their paper after the exam. It will spoil your efforts of writing the paper.
Enjoy and take time off after the paper. You deserve a break. Best of luck and do well!!
