Dear Shish,
I understand your problem and this is the case with most of the IT people. However, as u've said that the key is to seek time management. Find out the areas in which you're weak, eg. say vocab. You need to memorize the words.... So give 10 mins in the morning, 10 mins in the afternoon and 10 mins at night.... Repeat the words which you learn.

You have to learn to squeeze timeas much as you can. I would like to know more about your daily schedule, to be able to advice you more on this.

Hi Gaurav,

Thanks for timely help.My daily schedule is as follows.I am rite now posted in SOutheast asia.I have been working with the client for sometime now.Basically my job is that of a QA(Manual Testing). My basic stream of study was mechanical.Grabbed up this job in campus placements. After joining this company i have had a good lot of exposure in the areas of :time management, product knowledge and quiet bit analysing and problem solving capapcity.i have alsways been an average student in school n college. But i always have the constant spurge to make it big and worthy.wanna try gettin to a good bschool and get my basics right.I am not enjoying this current job of mine.wanna bid goodbye to this soon ...My daily schedule is pretty short to pen:It includes waking up and reachin office by 9,coordinate in tasks of client and reach back home by 11 or12 at night..i also have be become a dull thinking abt this and seem to lose interest in the preparation which i was doin for the past 2-3 months..Please advice gaurav

It indeed is quite difficult to pursue coaching along with regular job. Hence what you need to do is try to see where you can extract time and limit time wastage. For instance, if maths is your favorite subject, then how about solving 1-2 questions of quant during your break from work or recalling the words you memorized in the morning.

You would need to chalk out some sort of schedule likewise. You haven't mentioned whether you're preparing for GMAT or CAT ? CAT is just around the corner, whereas GMAT can be applied for, even later. At the same time, how much time can you spare in the week ends... ? You need to do some self analysis and let me know as to how you can squeeze time. Then we can see how to utilize this time.
