KNOWLEDGE is NOT INPUT in Learning. INFORMATION is input in learning process..... Rather, KNOWLEDGE is OUTPUT of learning process.... More often it is misunderstood that KNOWLEDGE is INPUT in learning process. No. It is not. Knowledge is an outcome of learning.

1. Information is the input of Learning. Learning process consistently turns lots and lots of information in to KNOWLEDGE.

2. Ones Knowledge is, always ' Information ' to all others.

This is an ongoing process. Parent’s knowledge becomes information to children. And by the time the child becomes a parent, if there is some knowledge which is developed during this time, then the child who is now parent passes on ones knowledge as information to its children.

3. Just because it is shared as 'Me experiments with Truth ' book does not mean that Gandhi's knowledge reaches every person who reads the books. Not at all! What somebody receives from Aarti Gandhi book is NOT KNOWLEDGE, But INFORMATION.

What Gandhi gives is, KNOWLEDGE. But What I, you and we all receive is INFORMATION. Is it not surprising!

4. How come if one gives knowledge, the other receives only information? Yes, It is true. Unless the other person who receives information internalizes it, it will remain as information only!

5. This is akin to food we consume getting converted in to strength.

Food that is consumed in to body is not strength. Food consumed need to be digested so that it becomes strength to the body. All food that is not converted in to strength will become ' WASTE ". Information that is not converted in to knowledge is not only a waste but also deadwood! Each one of us suffers from this kachra every day!

We also know that great percentage of food that is taken in to body is not covered in to strength and comes out of the body as WASTE! It is impossible to directly inject strength in to human body. It is compulsory to have digestion process. Even the best of the refined foods do require digestion!

6. There are two types of form. One is knowledge form and other one is information form. There are people who give us ' Information', and not knowledge, because, they themselves have not converted the information that they received in to knowledge. What they are passing on is only information..!

As a professor, most of the things that I pass on to my students is only information, rarely knowledge! A good learner will feel the difference in knowledge and information while s/he receives it.

7. It is impossible to inject knowledge in to human beings! But it is possible to inject information. It is expected that student will make necessary hard work to convert the information received into knowledge. Academics are supposed to arrange necessary context where in the received information is converted into knowledge by the learners.
