Kerala PSC Women Excise Guard Exam 2012

Kerala PSC Women Excise Guard Exam is an entrance exam conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission for the selection of the eligible women candidates for the post of Excise Guard in the Excise Department. Separate tests are conducted for each districts and the reported vacancies in each districts are filled from this rank lists. By this test large number of women candidates get a challenging job in the excise department.

Structure of Kerala PSC Women Excise Guard Exam

Kerala PSC Women Excise Guard Exam is a written test conducted by Kerala PSC. The test is of objective type question pattern. The questions consists of 100 multiple choice questions. The time duration of the test is of one hour and fifteen minutes. The test consists of questions in Malayalam language. The test consists of questions to check the general knowledge, mental ability, General English, Arithmetic ability etc. of the candidates. The test consists of questions with four different choices. One of them is the correct answer of the question. The candidates have to identify the answer and mark it in the OMR answer sheet. Some marks will be deducted for the wrong answers. Those who pass the written test will be called for the physical efficiency test. The candidates who pass both the tests will only be eligible for the post.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have passed the SSLC exam are only eligible for applying for the Excise Guard post. The female candidates can only apply for the post. The age limit of the candidates must be between 19 and 35 years. The age relaxation is provided for the candidates belonging to backward communities as per the government rule. The candidates should have at least 152cms height for applying for the test. The SC/ST candidate requires only 150cms height.

Kerala Public Service Commission only accepts the online application form for the Kerala PSC Women Excise Guard Exam. They provide this facility for the candidates. The interested candidates can send their application form through the official website of Kerala PSC The Official Webportal of the Kerala Public Service Commission. The candidates need not pay any fee for attending the exam.

How to fill the Form?

The online applicants have to read all the instructions in the website for filling the application form. The form should contain all the necessary details of the candidates. The name and date of birth of the candidates must be as it is in the SSLC certificate. Any change in it leads to the rejection of the form. The candidates must keep the barcode of the application form. After submission of the application form the candidates can take a print out of the application form for any further clearance. The most important thing that the candidates have to keep in mind is that the form must reach the office of Kerala PSC before last date.
