The resplendent actress is known for her rosy performance in titanic. Well, we all love getting trophies for our achievements and keep that in the safest place on the Earth. But, Kate Winslet is different and definitely her approach towards awards also differs. She keeps her Uber and prestigious Oscar award in a very unconventional place. Yeah; you heard it right, in the bathroom. After being nominated six times for Academy Awards, Hollywood starlet Kate Winslet won Oscar in 2009 for The Reader winning the Best Actress.
The Titanic actress decided to keep the coveted award in her bathroom and also reveals why. "The whole point is for everybody to pick it up and go, 'I'd like to thank my son and my dad' - and you can always tell when someone has, because they're in there a little bit longer after they flushed," Winslet said. "They'll come out looking slightly pink-cheeked. It's hysterical." Well, if only her Titanic's co-star Leonardo gets to use the bathroom!
