perhaps no, we learn them only at particular date not all time. Today they are find only in the books. school going student learn them when they have to read chapter which related to them . Gvt learn them only attime of speach. we all forget them . this become nly a story which only read.
 
no..its just a mater of day when an occassion is celeberated to show yes we the govt. in power do cares but the other side is horrible if we look to the martyrs' families...those who got their rights(partially) atleast survive well but wt about those who are still striving to get their compensations pending since years....from the so called democratic govt.(for the people, by the people, of the people)...
 
An Olympic Shooter wins Gold and Government gives him 3 Crores of cash prize and other awards where as another shooter in Mumbai dies fighting against the terrorists to save our country and our lives and Government pays his family 5 lacs. Yes winning Gold in the Olympics is definitely a matter of great pride but the Government and everyone related to this case should have shown much more concern.
 
i think we Indians give more importance to all the wasteful stuff rather than giving importance to those people who give their lives just save our country.... When India wins any Cricket Tournament then the players r given crores of rs & when any soldier dies for the cause of the country he is simply ignored... thts y the young generation nowadays prefer to go for other fields rather than army......
