Before reading this document, I would just like to share how to handle simple marketing on twitter.
Since you have a marketing idea, you will have a niche to talk about. Make your tweets public so that your tweets will be seen in Twitter searches. This gains you followers.
Once you start your profile for marketing purpose, DO NOT flood your page with loads of spam links. It will obviously irritate your followers and make them unfollow.
I suggest to make a minimum of 10tweets per day in the beginning which can have only a maximum of 1link out of 10tweets on the day. Make sure your tweets are informative and keyword targeted which will gain you more followers.
See the trending topics, use HASHTAGS in the most effective way to have more views for your links and tweets.
Do not worry if you don't have followers too, your tweets will always feature in TWITTER SEARCHES and you will have a minimum of 10viewers for your link on each post depending on the niche. For the same reason, please do not spam
