Judge-made law- As it suggests, it is the law made by a judge- it is considered inferior to statutory law since it may not be in tune with public opinion as opposed to statutory law (which can be debated)- it takes place in the confines of a courtroom and it is often an oral/verbal statement by a judge- it is subject to change according to the latest judgment on the issue
