No, I don't think there is any GK in JMET.

hey could ne1 tell me which all topics to brush up in quant(apart frm the cat topics) for jmet.

The quant is the toughest part of the JMET. The paper would test your knowledge not only from 10th, 11th or 12th std, but also engineering level. Hence, make sure you get a varied experience of the different types of questions, from various sources.
