New Delhi: After a prolonged clamor over the shady investigation on the mega scam coal-gate, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered fresh cases in the coal blocks allocation scam with some notable political business faces coming directly under its scanner.
According to sources in the CBI, Former Minister of State for Coal Dasari Narayan Rao and MP Naveen Jindal named as accused in the investigation. An FIR has been lodged against Jindal Steel and Power Ltd, Gagan Sponge and two other companies.[/i]
