Drastic changes in the rules of conduction of the Joint Level Examination(JEE) has left the students a little perturbed. Not many know about the new rules put into action and in this article we will try to update you with as much information as possible, with the online forms to be released soon.
The Joint entrance examination is now conducted by the National Testing Agency(NTA) twice in a year- in the months of January and April as opposed to a single test conducted earlier. Furthermore, the exam will be conducted only in online mode and candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks in the screening test to get admitted into various undergraduate programs run under IITs, NITs, and CFTIs.
The NTA will release the main JEE Main 2020 brochure on 2nd September 2019 while the JEE dates still remain unannounced. Meanwhile, let us have a look at the revised rules to be followed hereafter.
Age is no bar for the national level test, pertaining to the eligibility criteria.
The students undertaking JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) should have Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as a part of their curriculum.
Aadhar Card is no longer a compulsory possession in order to apply for the test, 2020 onwards.
Top 224000 candidates of the Mains will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced
Possession of water bottles, fruits, sugar tablets is allowed ith students suffering from diabetes.
Mock Tests can be taken by the candidates at the various 3400 centres established by the NTA.
