JBIMS - Summer Placement report for the 1st year students of the MMS course (Batch of 2012-2014)
The Summer Placement Season at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS)[/b] reiterated this adage and yet again proved its mettle in the industry, with a 100% placement.
Defying concerns of a downturn in the economy, JBIMS has yet again proven to be a force to be
reckoned with, successfully capping off the season with students being placed in diverse sectors and
coveted profiles. In addition to the regular companies reposing their faith, the institute has forged new
ties with many first time recruiters. International profiles were offered by reputed brands in the industry
providing an opportunity for global exposure. Also, this season witnessed the comeback of a number of
old recruiters to the campus.
Apart from maintaining its 100% placement record, the highlights of this year's placement season include:
Srivathsan Jagadeesan[/b], a part of the Human Resources department, P&G[/b] says,"We have had a very productive association with JBIMS for a long time. This comes out through a focused approach from the institute in building a diverse group of students who come with all essential leadership attributes that multinational companies like P&G look for."
Bhrugesh Parsawala, a student placed in a leading Investment Bank, says, “This profile is a dream come true for me. Getting a front end investment banking role is an opportunity that I had always aspired for and I feel privileged to have been provided this platform.”
Prof. Balkrishna Parab, the Placement Coordinator, JBIMS, says “The continuing confidence the recruiters have shown in our students over the years is overwhelming. The diverse backgrounds of the students coupled with the skills acquired at the institute enabled them to be placed in the best of profiles with the best of brands. The finance discipline particularly was the star bagging some of the highest stipends offered on campus. The hard work and determination of the Placement committee have borne fruit as the students were provided a plethora of opportunities that fulfilled their aspirations.”
