Leading UK entrepreneur James Caan has agreed
terms through his property venture capital firm
Hamilton Bradshaw Real Estate (HBRE) for a joint
venture with property experts Garrington. The two
firms are set to launch a new Private Office real
estate company to serve the needs of high net
worth individuals, with a particular focus on an international clientele.
The new company will formally launch in Mayfair in early Spring 2012, and will offer a
bespoke solution for the complex property needs of discerning clients in the upper
quartile of the market. Mr. Caan commented that “Hamilton Bradshaw enjoys a respected
position in the private equity and investment management sector. By partnering with
Garrington, we can leverage our collective expertise and networks to create a best-in-
class, independent investment advisory service for HNWIs looking to invest in UK real
estate.”
Garrington’s Managing Director Jonathan Hopper believes that “the architecture of the
new venture will be pioneering for the UK market and has been built in response to both
domestic client needs and the rising interest in the UK from overseas investors.”
Hamilton Bradshaw Real Estate, led by Caan’s partner and co-investor Faisal Butt, is a
subsidiary of Hamilton Bradshaw. Butt commented “HB Real Estate actively invests in
high calibre real estate entrepreneurs and management teams to create new property
ventures in niche sectors. The HB Garrington Private Office, in particular, is an exciting
venture for us.”
Mr Caan further commented that “work is now well underway in preparing for our formal
