TC’s Interrobang?! 2024 Generates Over 550 Innovative Ideas from India’s Brightest Management Students
Over 4,600 students from top B-schools craft solutions for ITC’s live business challenges in marketing, HR, and supply chain management
New Delhi, 5th November 2024 – ITC has successfully concluded the 14th season of Interrobang?!: ITC on Campus, its flagship campus engagement program that fosters collaboration between industry and academia. This year, the program drew over 4,600 students from 18 of India’s premier management institutes, who submitted more than 550 innovative business solutions to address live industry challenges at ITC.
Since its inception, Interrobang?! has created a dynamic platform connecting students with ITC’s leaders across industries. The program’s signature name, marked by the ‘?!’ punctuation, symbolizes inquiry and discovery. Through it, students engage closely with ITC leadership to explore industry best practices, tackle complex business challenges, and gain insights from ITC’s work across FMCG, agriculture, hotels, paperboards, and packaging. Over 50,000 innovative ideas have been generated since the program began, many of which have been implemented.
“We had an exhilarating season of Interrobang?! this year,” said Amitav Mukherji, Head of Corporate Human Resources at ITC Limited. “The program serves as an essential bridge between ITC and India’s top business schools. We were inspired by the response to Interrobang Season 14, filled with creativity, collaboration, and ideas that could transform our approach to business challenges.”
Interrobang?! Season 14 included three main components: the Interrobang Case Challenge, InterroJam Campus Sessions, and the Grand Finale. Students worked on case studies from iconic ITC brands such as Dark Fantasy, Mangaldeep, Nimyle, and Aashirvad Spices, addressing key marketing and supply chain challenges, including procurement and warehouse operations in ITC’s Agri Business Division. Talent development and performance management were also central topics, allowing participants to apply strategic HR concepts to real-world scenarios.
The Grand Finale in Kolkata featured students presenting their solutions to ITC’s senior management. The event culminated in an inspiring address from Mr. B Sumant, Executive Director at ITC Limited, who shared his journey at ITC and the myriad opportunities for innovation within the organization.
